The wide sawhorses in cradle mode for a Calendar Islands Yawl. Every boat has a custom cradle-top that makes a perfect fit and has an allowance for padding.
Cut from 3/4” plywood on our CNC router, these sawhorses breakdown flat, are heavy duty sawhorses, and with the cradle tops inserted, are a perfect fit cradle for your boat. Add these to your kit and they will ship in the pallet.
With the flat tops in place, the sawhorses are useful for a number of utility purposes. After turnover, put the cradle tops in place.
Sawhorse cradle for a Drake 17: the top is cut to shape of hull. You can see the flat-tops in the sheet underneath which support the strongback.
The tops can be custom engraved. Makes a great gift. These were oiled after routing and engraving..
The sawhorses store flat on a shelf. Note the canvas gunwale guard. This is available to ship with ‘horses. Carpet or other padding may also be used.
Sawhorses are $195 for a set, packed in the pallet for shipment. Be sure to indicate that you want them when you order through the form.
Typical skiff sawhorses like our Echo Bay Dory Skiff: wide enough to hold boat upside down and flat with cutout for keel to hold boat upright as well. Gunwale guard for boats can be screwed to the top edge to protect the gunwales.
